The Oaks At Point South Rv March 16-18, 2018

Yemmassee, South Carolina

We went to Charleston and loved it. The architecture was amazing! Alima fell in love. We went to White Point Park. FYI there are no public restrooms at the park. We walked King Street and went to Charleston City Market. It was super cool. It was very windy and rained a little. There are great places to eat and shop all within walking distance in the city. Steven and Calvin loved paying on the cannons. Alima also loved the carriage tour horses. If you were not taking a walking tour I would suggest taking a horse drawn carriage tour. If you were walking be sure to bring your camera because there’s lots of stuff to photograph that’s really awesome. There are also bikes that you rent that would be a great way to get around.

The streets are narrow so driving in your car is a little tricky. All of the history tours that you can take you have to pay for such as seeing fort Sumter and all the other Forts. Beaufort is really nice and a sweet small town. There are people who sell sweet grass baskets EVERYWHERE!

When we were leaving we saw the cutest tiny tree frog hanging out on our water connector. I let it go on another tree. I wish we could have kept it though, it was soooo cute.

Park Review

Nice small park. Not much to do. Didn’t check out showers/laundry. No dog run. There was a pond that had a nice mowed path to walk around where we saw an alligator.

It seemed there were a lot of long term campers. Spots were rock. There were trees and lots of bugs. it seemed to be a place where there were lots of long term people there.
